About the Program

The LINK’s Mentoring Program connects graduating female university students and young professional women  with a senior, experienced career woman as mentor (usually with 10+ years experience).

The LINK is an initiative of Sustain Leadership dedicated to creating learning spaces for women to shift mindset

The relationships are goal-oriented and time bound in order to achieve results on the pre-established goals of the mentee.

Since The LINK’s mentoring program is monitored to deliver results, we request that both the mentors and mentees submit periodic feedback assessments to ensure the stated objectives of the pair are being met.

WHO SHOULD JOIN?

Join The LINK if you want to be part of a community of women that support each other in their professional and personal growth! The LINK brings together women with different experiences, and its current mentors and mentees represent a diverse mix of backgrounds and professions, and include both Emirati and expat women. These relationships lead to valuable information exchange, development as well as networking.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?

The mentoring program is a one year commitment, during which The LINK recommends that approximately 4 hours per month should be given to the mentoring relationship. The relationship is flexible and it is up to the pair to arrange convenient dates and meeting times.

WHAT IS THE JOINING PROCESS?

The LINK has a robust process for making the best match between the mentor and mentee. After interested mentors and mentees submit their online application to join, The LINK team will interview each candidate to further understand their profile and interests. Once a mentoring match is made, mentors and mentees will be asked to attend The LINK’s mentoring orientation where they will meet their match and will receive the tools and guidance to maximize their relationship. After the pair’s subsequent meeting, they will complete a Mentoring Agreement so that goals and expectations are aligned.
